Election protection is an important issue as reports of voter machine malfunctions, voter intimidation, and other voter problems surface in almost every election.

Solution

VoterStory.org puts voter protection into the hands of the people. Our VoterStory.org widget allowed anyone with a blog or website to help collect data on voting problems during the November 2006 elections.

Results

Scores of citizens and organizations placed the VoterStory.org widget on their website. Hundreds of reports of voter problems were collected and distributed to voter protection groups across the country.
